The green board is designed to save power to devices that are in standby but still consuming power. The unique remote switch allows 4 outlets on the remote bank to be completely turned off.
The other 4 outlets remain on for devices like pay TV decoders or any recoding device that needs to be on permenently so as to perform time related tasks like recording.
This allows the user to get the best of both worlds while saving on energy consumption and therefore saving money.
As a added bonus the remote has a USB charging circuit built into the switch cover. The circuit will allow your iPhone to charge or two other devices like an MP3 player, camera or phone charger.

The Remote Switch

The remote switch has an extra long cable to connect to into the side of the board ensuring there is ample lead for even the largest systems. The cable ensures there is power saving bank ‘on’ or ‘off’ easily. no ned to worry about replacing batteries either.
The two LED lights on the button switch indicate there is no power to the USB charger and also alerts the user if the remote bank is turned on or off.
The LED lights have being placed at the rear of the switch so as to offer a softer illumination when in a dark environment. Even when power is switched off your valuable devices are still protected.
The two combined USB chargers can handle up to 1Amp in connected devices to charge. This means that up to two devices can be charging at the same time.

What are induction loops?

Induction loops are assistive listening devices that enable people to hear more clearly, whilst also minimising background noise. They operate using the ‘T’switch on a person’s hearing aid which enables access to the audio frequency induction loop system. An induction loop system consists of a microphone, an amplifier in place of a loud speaker and a coil of wire placed around the room.

Where can the induction loop be installed?

Any buildings that use an amplification system attached to a microphone, such as Universities, Schools, Churches, Cathedrals, Halls, Court houses, Theatres, Cinemas, Meeting rooms, Boardrooms, Hospitals, Senior citizens’ clubs are suitable for loop installation. In fact any building where a microphone and or a sound system is used can generally be fitted at a reasonable cost. The induction loop does not affect the efficiency of the existing amplification system.

When should the induction loop be installed?

For new or renovated buildings with public access, there may be a legal requirement to install a induction loop system for the benefit of hearing impaired people who access the venue. Refer to the Australian Building Codes Section D, Part D3.7 with respect to hearing augmentation for further details.

What needs to be done for testing and measurement?

Testing of the induction loop system design can be made before the cable is installed. The induction loop cable is placed loosely around the area to be covered and the signal intensity measured in the listening area. This can determine any locations in the area that have low signal strength and steps can be taken to increase the field in that area. A field strength meter should be used to set the final current through the induction loop. Often hearing aids are used to determine the setting of the final current through the induction loop. Although this is often a good check to make at the end of the testing, it is recommended that a calibrated pick-up device be used since the Australian Standard AS60188.4 field strength is designed provide an acceptable signal to noise ratio while not causing overloading (distortion) in the hearing aid.

The benefits of the induction loop system?

• Meet the Hearing Augmentation requirements of the Building Codes of Australia. (Section D, Part D3.7)
• Incorporate into your Disability Discrimination Act Action Plan by providing hearing impaired people with access to your services and facilities;
• User benefits when seeking access to your services and facilities, attending training sessions, meetings, seminars or product demonstrations;
• More natural conversation between user and other people;
• Multiple users can access the loop at the one time.

High definition video conferencing – Video conferencing is a communications technology that integrates video and voice to connect remote users with each other as if they were in the same room. Each user needs a video conferencing unit, a TV and a broadband internet connection. Users see and hear each other in realtime, allowing natural conversations not possible with voice-only communications technology.

Very appealing to the educational and business sectors, video conferencing allows users to save time and money on travelling and housing costs by bringing people face-to-face virtually. Business leaders around the world use video conferencing to keep in touch with important contacts while on the go. You can have a video conferencing meeting with people half way across the world and it is as if you are in the same room. Organizations that embrace videoconferencing technology earlier will have a significant advantage over those that are caught out attempting to catch up.

Commercial high definition projectors – 1080p projectors were reserved for home theatres up until recently. Projectors designed for the workspace were traditionally designed to run XGA resolution (1024 x 768) which was suitable for running presentations. However with more and more laptops containing a high-definition output, consumers want to be able to display full high-definition resolutions as they would at home.

These transitions from the home to the office are made easy with the Vivitek D952HD projector. The Vivitek D952HD is a commercial grade projector which delivers 3600 lumens of brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. This makes it suitable to showing off your latest presentation without having to turn off the lights. The D952HD is the ultimate match for today’s high-definition presentations.

The Vivitek D952HD retails for $2 999 inc GST. If you are interested in us installing this projector please feel free to contact us.

A projector projects the computer’s desktop onto the board’s surface where users control the computer using a pen, finger or other device. The board is typically mounted to a wall or floor stand.

The digital revolution – “There’s no question that the digital age is here today. Analog television is off the air; practically every device that plugs into a display has an HDMI port; the latest MacBooks only provide DisplayPort outputs; laptops now include built-in Blu-ray players; and the latest video conferencing systems feature HDMI/DVI outputs exclusively. The products you’re using now won’t work for much longer. Crestron DigitalMedia™ (DM) is the only solution that answers the challenges of tomorrow – today.

Crestron began designing products with HDMI technology more than five years ago, and have shipped thousands of HDMI products over the last three years. But DM is more than just another HDMI switcher or extender; it’s a complete, integrated solution that manages, controls and distributes all analog and uncompressed HD digital content over twisted pair or fiber. DM matrix switchers are flexible, modular systems that can accept virtually every signal type and transmit them long distance as digital DM signals. Built-in exclusive QuickSwitch HD™ technology pre-authorizes HDCP keys and maintains a constant handshake for continuous, glitch-free HD switching. At the end points, DM receivers control and output HDMI to the display.

Crestron DigitalMedia is the only solution for the digital age, distributing all analog and uncompressed HD digital signals, and managing embedded data such as HDCP, EDID and CEC.” Excerpt taken from http://www.crestron.com
